Aleksandra Socha-Hottewitzsch is qualified advocate (adwokat) with several years of experience in real estate and construction as well as litigation departments of major law firms in Poland, including 4 years of employment in CMS Cameron McKenna. Her previous work experience includes employment within highly reputable international law firms, i.e, Warsaw offices of Gide Loyrette Nouel, Dentons and White & Case.
Aleksandra specialises in real estate law and construction and infrastructure investments. Aleksandra advised general contractors, subcontractors and investors in connection with the implementation and settlement of road and railway investments as well as other infrastructure projects, including large volume facilities. Aleksandra is also representing such entities in court proceedings regarding liquidated damages, additional and substitute works, contract rescission, and joint and several liability of the investor for paying remuneration to the sub-contractor. Her advice covers projects carried out in various formulas, both on the private market and in public procurement (including the build and design and build formula).
Over the years she has also provided long-term asset management advisory for an office park owner, offering ongoing legal support, in particular through leasing process, drafting and negotiating lease agreements.
Aleksandra is passionate about high-altitude mountaineering and has successfully summited several 4,000-meter peaks across Europe.
